Sleepy Voice — Terms of Use

Welcome to Sleepy Voice! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sleepy Voice app and services (“the App”). By downloading or using Sleepy Voice, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before use.

1. Overview

Sleepy Voice provides AI-generated bedtime stories and personalized narration for family use. The app is designed to be safe, ad-free, and compliant with child privacy regulations.

2. Eligibility and Identification

Sleepy Voice is intended for parents, guardians, or adult family members to use with children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app, subscribe, or provide voice samples. As the app does not require traditional account creation, your usage and purchases are associated with a unique Device ID.

3. Family Use Only

You may use Sleepy Voice only for private, non-commercial purposes. Stories, voices, and generated media may not be sold, distributed publicly, or used for promotional or commercial projects without written consent from Sleepy Voice.

4. Voice Cloning and Audio Content

By submitting a voice sample, you confirm that it is your own voice and that you authorize its use solely within the app.
Voice samples are processed to generate an AI voice for storytelling and then automatically deleted after processing.
The cloned voice is used only to generate family stories; it is not shared or made public.

5. User Content

All stories and media generated through Sleepy Voice remain the property of the user who created them. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable laws and does not infringe upon the rights of others.

6. Data Storage and Privacy Compliance

By default, your child’s information (including name, age, and interests) and all stories and audio files are stored locally on your device. Optional encrypted cloud backup is available for convenience and requires parental consent. No identifying information about the child is sent to the server for story or audio generation. 7. Payment and In-App Purchases

Sleepy Voice offers premium features through a subscription plan and single, non-consumable purchases (e.g., purchasing story credits/packs).
Payments are handled securely via the App Store or Google Play; Sleepy Voice does not directly store payment information.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your app store account settings before the renewal date.
Single-purchase items (story packs) are non-refundable once consumed. We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Misuse the app to create or distribute harmful, illegal, or adult-oriented content
Upload voices or data that you do not have rights to use
Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with app operations

9. Intellectual Property

The Sleepy Voice name, logo, design elements, and technology are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy or modify the app’s software, design, or AI models without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sleepy Voice provides its services “as is.” We make no guarantees that stories or audio output will always meet your expectations or be free from interruption or error. You use the app at your own discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sleepy Voice is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app. You may also stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

13. Updates to Terms

We may modify these Terms periodically. Any significant updates will be communicated within the app. Continued use of Sleepy Voice after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
