Sleepy Voice ("we", "us", "our") is a family-first bedtime story app. We respect your privacy and aim to keep your family's stories and voices safe. This Privacy Policy explains what data Sleepy Voice handles, how it is used, and how you can manage or delete it.

Data Minimization Guarantee: The app uses a Second Person Point of View ("You") for story generation. The child's real name is NEVER transmitted to our servers or third-party AI providers for story text or audio generation. This information is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly authorize a safe, anonymized cloud backup.

Sleepy Voice is designed for family use under parental supervision. We follow COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar regulations (such as GDPR-K). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. Any features that may involve voice or personal input require the parent to initiate them.
We use reputable third-party AI and audio providers (for example, Azure OpenAI Service or licensed TTS vendors) solely to perform one-time text generation and voice synthesis. Crucially, we ensure that these third parties never receive the child's name, nickname, or any other identifying information. They only receive the minimal, non-identifying story parameters (e.g., interests, age range) required for transient processing. We do not provide third parties with identifying child data.
Sleepy Voice adheres to a policy of data minimization. Generated story audio files are not stored on our servers. All stories and audio content are stored locally on the user's device. Audio processing on our servers is purely transient; files are deleted immediately after synthesis or completion of the necessary API task. We do not store or retain any story text containing child names.
